A safe space to ground & find joy in the present moment.

Hi, I’m Katherine!

As a lifelong runner, I always saw physical intensity as the only way to measure success in my body. But after many years of intense training, punctuated by a variety of injuries and setbacks (of both the physical and emotional variety), I found Yoga.

I was always running full speed ahead. And I needed something to help me slow down, if only for an hour. So, I checked out a restorative yoga class at a local studio.

While I didn’t quite know what to expect, and my inner narrative tried to convince me there were far more “productive” ways I could spend that time – when I left that first Yoga class, I realized that my shoulders had dropped at least an inch or two away from my ears. I realized I could breathe fully in a way I hadn’t in a long time. So I kept going.

In 2019, I stepped into a 600-yoga teacher training program and I’ve never looked back. I love when I see my clients' shoulders drop just like mine did after that wonderful first class. I love cultivating a safe space to explore the non-linear (oft messy) journey toward our joy, peace & truth.

Yoga has the immense power to encourage us to pause, to truthfully and wholeheartedly land back in our bodies. It allows us to rev a little lower, and experience the highs and lows of life from a more regulated state of mind.

And I would love for you to experience that alongside me.

All you need is a Yoga mat, and a commitment to your own self-care to get started. Together, we will ground back in our bodies, away from the heightened energetic state so many of us are accustomed to living in.

As someone who uses yoga as a radical act of self-love, I keep my classes calming. They act as a place where you can show up, exactly as you are. They’re about reconnecting with self, with your breath, and remembering to land in the present moment.

No fancy headstands or balancing acts here. Just slow, gentle, kind movement to help you re-center and ground.
